Viitorul keeper Árpád Tordai was distraught when he realized he knocked the ball out of reach and into the path of opposing striker Valentin Costache. You can see the desperation as he tries to recover, only to slip on the field.
Costache gains control of the ball. There’s daylight. An open goal and glory away and .... DONK! He drills the post. It left announcers mystified at how all this was even possible. Thankfully for the 18-year-old striker, it didn’t end up hurting his team and Dinamo București went on to win, 1-0, anyway.
