Nick Kyrgios was playing in the Montreal Masters on Wednesday when he mistook a line judge for a ballboy while he was looking to throw his sweaty towel somewhere, and the video is a lot funnier than that sentence gives it credit for.

It was a case of mistake identity. Kyrgios only saw someone standing in his peripheral vision when he tossed the towel, and the line judge stood firm that grabbing sweaty towels is definitely not part of his job description. He just stands like like a guard at Buckingham Palace, letting the towel smack into him and fall to the ground. There’s no acknowledgement, just stoicism.
Kyrgios later apologized on Instagram. With the audio you can hear him apologizing profusely after throwing the towel.
