Cristiano Ronaldo decided to mock Barcelona and Lionel Messi when he scored over the weekend in El Clásico. He took off his shirt and displayed it to the crowd, just like Messi did last year.

Boos rained down on Ronaldo from the fierce Barcelona crowd. He mocked their hero in their own home, but turnabout’s fair play — except things then started to go very, very wrong for Ronaldo.
Moments after his goal he was booked for diving, resulting in a second yellow card and, ultimately, a red card.

He became infuriated with the ref and pushed him.
Which has now resulted in a five-game suspension for the Real Madrid superstar. In a short passage he went from dizzying highs, to horrible lows, to now he’ll be sitting on the bench for a month. What a world.
