Mayweather-McGregor debate turns into Stephen A. Smith and Teddy Atlas screaming about burgers

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor really did it. They fought each other for 10 rounds with Mayweather winning via TKO. It was a spectacle, and like all post-fight television analysis, there was bound to be one or two commentators who would get heated over who performed well. Teddy Atlas and Stephen A. Smith, both known for their intense commentary that escalates to the point of getting weird and comical, had that moment during ESPN’s coverage of Mayweather-McGregor.
The video above jumps in media res, but from what we can gather, Atlas spoke positively on Mayweather’s performance in the later rounds while Smith said “Floyd was not great tonight.” It was alright analysis, but then Atlas threw in a restaurant metaphor saying McGregor “forced a gourmet chef to be a fast order cook,” to which Stephen A. replied, “But doesn’t that make it fast food?” to start an argument that makes one wonder if they’re even talking about the fight anymore.
“If you go to a restaurant,” Smith continued, “to get some steak — some filet mignon — and instead, you get a burger ... OK, ain’t it a burger? I mean, it’s just a burger. That’s what we saw tonight. That’s all I’m saying.”
“He made the adjustment to be what he had to be,” Atlas answered.
“But it’s still a cheeseburger! It’s not a steak,” Smith said.
“But who’s eating it?!” Atlas yelled.
Uh ... alright then.
