Adorable pony shows speed and cornering skill by running in cycling race

Watching an animal become inspired by watching humans and choosing to join a sporting event is a rare but singular joy. On Thursday, an adorable pony jumped into the Tour of Poland and ran alongside cyclists:

LOOK AT THIS VERY GOOD PONY!

This clearly isn’t a case of a pony just coming to say hello. This pony wants to race. The most impressive part is the cornering skill on asphalt. That is not a surface that hooves are good on, but this glorious equine has only a slight slip rounding the corner.

It’s been a good year for horses in cycling. Who can forget when a horse ran alongside the Tour de France?
