It takes up almost half the screen, it’s distracting, and it goes on for way too long — but this is the best graphic in sports. It’s relevant; it’s pure. When Brilliant Catch DJ turns up, you know the game was lit, and it’s with the perfect audio sting that if you were distracted, you immediately have your attention grabbed so you can see the replay.
We need Brilliant Catch DJ in football, right now. I don’t care if we’d see it three to four times per game, it’s worth it.
