During the Broncos-Bills game on Sunday, Von Miller received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for pulling a prank everyone has done before: the “too slow” fake handshake.

Amazing.
After a play where Bills QB Tyrod Taylor and Miller both ended up on the ground, Miller pretended to help up Taylor before yanking his hand away. A classic prank, of course.
But the nearby official didn’t find it funny — at all. While the two players seemed to be laughing about the joke, the official threw a flag.
Many were not happy with the call — especially in what was a fairly close game:

And some fans took the chance to say that the NFL hates fun.
Miller’s prank was harmless and hilarious, but according to the ref: unsportsmanlike.
The Bills went on to eventually win the game, 26-16.

After the game, Miller responded to the penalty, taking full responsibility for the actions that lead to the call.
