Early in the fourth quarter against the Cowboys, the Cardinals needed a big gain since they were down 14-21. And with Larry Fitzgerald on your team, it only makes sense that you bomb it to the veteran receiver and hope for the best.
Carson Palmer delivered a throw in Larry’s direction. Unfortunately, Orlando Scandrick got his hands on it before Fitzgerald could. From the start, it looked like the Cowboys were about to get the ball. But the play isn’t over until the ball is down. Larry Fitzgerald managed to grab enough of the football to snatch the dang ball away for a reception!
It just goes to show you that even though hope seems lost at first, you keep doing all you can until the very end. Who knows, you might get the result you wanted! Larry Fitzgerald is ageless.
