It’s been a couple of months since we last had a robot video that made us realize we’re all doomed in the future — and now we have this tiny hopping killbot.

Okay, so perhaps that declaration is a little rough. There’s no clear indication that this robot has been programmed to kill ... yet. All I’m saying is that this is perhaps the scariest killer robot we’ve seen, and legitimately it creeps me out.
Here’s why: All those Boston Dynamics killbots have one thing in common, you know they’re coming. Sure they have a size advantage, but at least for now I think I could escape a giant robot if the need arose. This little hopper is speedy, relatively quiet and I could totally see it hopping through an open window, making its way upstairs while I’m asleep and dispersing a nerve gas to kill me while I doze.
Not that I think about this stuff too much.
