The Golden State Warriors unveiled their 2017-18 NBA Championship rings on Tuesday night, and as expected they’re gloriously opulent. However, the rings also have something hidden inside — and it’s the first time we’ve seen anything like it.
The Warriors are getting the first reversible championship rings in history
Yes, you read that right.

The face of the ring unscrews revealing the team’s motto “Strength in Numbers,” but also a clasp, which can be popped open so the wearer can flip the face of the ring from a blue sapphire background, to white diamonds.
It’s super impressive, but also astonishing the extra money would be spent on a bunch of stones that are hidden half the time. That said, it’s a super neat feature and if I had a ring like this I’d play it it all the time, until I inevitable dropped my jewel disk on the floor and couldn’t find it.
