Leukemia isn’t stopping Texas basketball star Andrew Jones from getting some shots up
Buckets!

Texas Longhorns basketball player Andrew Jones is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia. That’s not stopping him from getting his shots in. Jones tweeted this video of himself practicing on Wednesday evening.
Jones was diagnosed with leukemia in early January. Since then, he’s seen a wave of support from the college basketball world. The same day his diagnosis was publicly announced, his Texas Longhorns team won a thriller in overtime, capped off by head coach Shaka Smart rejoicing in tear knowing that the victory was for Jones. Texas Tech also paid tribute to him when they all wore No. 1 jerseys before their game just a week later.
Get well soon, Andrew. Your diagnosis won’t take away your drive, determination, and strength. Hope to see you back on the Longhorns court with your teammates real soon.
