Wheel of Fortune featured one of the great all-time screw-ups on Monday night courtesy of Jonny and his completely solved puzzle.

Jonny was taking a victory lap on a puzzle he already knew, which is basically just spinning up as much money as possible and then solving it. When it was all said and done the answer was staring him in the face:

But poor Jonny. Poor, sweet Jonny. He read “Flamingo Dance Lessons.”
Pat Sajak was frozen, and after a long pause he said Jonny was wrong, and passed to the next competitor. Stunned, Johnny didn’t really understand what was happening until it was explained that he pronounced the word with a ‘G,’ instead of a ‘C.’
The moment was so bizarre that Sajak had to come back on after the break and explain the harsh ruling. Gotta stick to the rules otherwise they would be anarchy on the wheel.
