That’s awesome. Not only did she get to go to the game and get her very own stick, but she got to meet Brett Connolly, too!
And perhaps even more impressively, the Caps won in overtime!
If you don’t remember, the young fan originally was in the spotlight after she got the puck she REALLY wanted.
This is what playoff hockey is all about — not wild goals, or brutal hits, but good, old-fashioned fan love.
Let’s hope the Caps get the win they need on Monday... if only for this fan!
