Hayley Moore from Britain’s At The Races saw a problem and tackled it head on — literally.
Racing reporter catches loose horse on live TV
This was pretty badass.

Reporting live from the Chepstow Racecourse in Wales, Moore noticed that one of the horses, Give Em A Clump, had gotten loose and was bolting towards her. Handlers were gun shy about stepping in and stopping the galloping thoroughbred, but the reporter was not. She took one for the team by tackling the horse, getting bowled over in the process, but hanging on the reigns and bringing it to a stop.
Speaking to the BBC, Moore explained what went through her mind:
“It was the quickest moving horse that I’ve tried to catch, hence me falling over when I did it. I’m pretty strong, pretty sturdy ... but it was probably a bit stupid to be honest with you.”
Moore’s co-hosts were in awe of the tackle, even if it might have resulted in a broken microphone.
