Gronkowski has the nicest odds in the Belmont Stakes

Nice.

Gronkowski is the long shot to win the Belmont Stakes come Jun. 9, but that slim chance has led to odds that Gronk himself could only dream of.

That’s right, Gronkowski is 69/1.

Now look, we know that it’s likely the bookmakers at Bovada just set the line at 69/1 because it was too perfect — but it’s still too perfect. These are the nicest odds in the race. Art imitate life, horse imitate nice.

The human Gronk is, of course, on board:

It was a very nice year for Rob Gronkowski overall, even without the Super Bowl win. His affinity for the number 69 went deep. He had 69 receptions on the year, invited 69 family members to the Super Bowl, and just a year before he scored his 69th career touchdown.

Might be worth a $69 bet.
