A Virginia-based company, Capital One founder and CEO Richard Fairbank is a minority owner of the Washington Capitals. This all makes sense, but there’s just one problem: What if some of your customer base isn’t in the area?
We can confirm that the Capitals logo is being shown to everyone who visits the site. It hasn’t been geolocked to just the D.C. area — which isn’t going over too well with non-Caps fans who happen to be Capital One customers.
