Rangers prospect Eric Jenkins didn’t just flip over a fence to rob a home run, he did it in the smoothest way possible.
This minor league outfielder stuck the landing on the defensive play of the year
WHAT A FLIP! WHAT A CATCH! WHAT A LANDING!

Jenkins, who plays for the Down East Wood Ducks of the Carolina League, made the catch in the fourth inning of an 11-4 win for the Wood Ducks. After the game Jenkins was celebrating the win with his family at Applebees when his phone began blowing up and the video went viral.
“It’s been a crazy day,” Jenkins told MiLB.com, “I’ve never made a catch like that before. I’ve robbed a home run before, but that’s the best catch I’ve made in my career.”
It’s also one of the best we’ve seen.
