These are some of our favorite Ichiro moments

So many memories.

Ichiro Suzuki rode off into the sunset, then immediately back into it by retiring from playing and instantly walking into a front office role with the Mariners. It’s unclear if this is really it for Ichiro’s playing career — but it got us thinking about some of out favorite moments from his career.

Comparing how much he’s changed over the years.

Sexy Ichiro’s home plate pose.

When he met Michael Jordan while wearing a giant Tom and Jerry turtleneck over 20 years ago.

When he reminded us he could still make plays at 44.

When he said he wanted to play until he was 50.

Even if his quote was a little dark.

And never ever ever forget he has more hits than Pete Rose.
