I’ll preface this by saying I honestly don’t know if someone faked this or not, and all research is inconclusive — but I want to believe anyway.
This crawfish catching a penny is a real-life Mr. Krabs
Good dog.

I have a lot of questions. Why is there a crawfish on the ground? Why does the dude want to throw money at it? How did the crawfish catch it so perfectly? All these queries lead to one conclusion: The crawfish is Mr. Krabs.
Mr. Krabs is enterprising enough to escape the pot, should this be how the crawfish ended up on the ground. Also, Mr. Krabs is all about that money — so naturally he would catch it in one claw without a single bobble.
Now, canon would lead you to believe that Mr. Krabs is in fact a crab, but in my internal fiction I like to believe he’s a crawfish. Partly because it makes this whole video work thematically, and also because it adds less of a cannibalistic element to Krabs being a crab and serving crab in his establishment.
