This giant rat is an absolute unit

Love this lad.

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

Ever say to yourself “I like the concept of owning a rat, but I’d really like it dog sized?” Well, this video has you covered.

This is a Pacarana, which is an animal I only learned about today — but I’m still obsessed with. It’s a nocturnal rodent that lives in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The video was posted to YouTube back in January and only has 500,000 views, which is criminal considering this lad is so mammoth.

The folks over at Reddit are likening him to Master Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which I totally agree with. I can see this chap hanging out with some pizza-eating turtles any day, and whipping them into shape with his skills of discipline.
