There’s a new craze sweeping the world and making us feel crushingly uncoordinated — finger glasses. If you’re not familiar with finger glasses, then watch the below, and prepare yourself to spend the next 15 minutes or so almost dislocating your fingers in a pointless pursuit to feel relevant. This is about sports, promise.
Dele Alli’s finger glasses goal celebration is everywhere. But can you actually do it?
This is witchcraft.

It all starts with Manchester United’s Jess Lingard ...
Lingard’s branding/merchandise manager appears to be the progenitor of the finger glasses from a series of messages he showed of him speaking with Lingard back in June.
Dele Alli made it a thing.
This idea caught on with one person in particular: Tottenham’s Dele Alli, who quickly took the hand gesture and turned it into his goal celebration. This exploded at the start of the Premier League season when Alli used the gesture, and it caught on and became a phenomenon.
Looking to take it to a new level, Alli posted a photo of his new celebration: Full-on finger glasses, and the #DeleAlliChallenge went viral.
The viral tweet ...
Lexi Ceballos’ tweet of the finger glasses went mega-viral, introducing the non-soccer world to Alli’s finger glasses. Now everyone is trying to play catch up.
And this dude has totally mastered it.
