A programming restriction has left MMA fans in the U.K. fuming after their TVs got switched from the main event of Bellator 206, and was instead replaced with Peppa Pig.
MMA fans stay up all night to watch main event, get ‘Peppa Pig’ instead
Welp.

The fight, between middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi and welterweight champion Rory MacDonald took place at 10 p.m. in San Jose, which made it 6 a.m. in the U.K. This caused the fight to be subjected to a programming restriction, which meant MMA was not suitable in the time slot — so the fight was pulled from the air and replaced with Peppa Pig.
The worst part is that some people saw this coming ...
And others were left fuming that they’d stayed up all night.
Some understood that it was a lose-lose situation.
For those of you in the U.K.: Mousasi retained the title with a knockout in the second round.
For those of you in the US: George had a good first day at playgroup after playing with Peppa and Daddy Pig.
