Trae Young’s 60-foot alley-oop pass will make your jaw drop

Even the most die-hard Luka Doncic fan has to respect the absurd alley-oop thrown by Trae Young Wednesday night.

Young was on fire, scoring 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting while dishing out eight assists — but this was his best of the night. It took just over a second after getting the ball for Young to realize John Collins was wide open in the paint, and made the decision to try and throw an alley from an absurd distance to get the bucket.

It’s astonishing how on-point this pass was considering the distance, and the trust he put in Collins to throw it down. Especially considering so many of his amazing passes end up like this:
