Pope Leo, aka “Chicago Pope” is a die hard White Sox fan. He has been his entire life, and he’s wanting to make it abundantly clear that initial incorrect reports noting him as a Cubs fan were wrong. This is a pope who is capable of loving thy neighbor, but hating the dang Cubs.

Don’t step to the pope with your Cubs propaganda.
So, when he rolled out into St. Peter’s Square to raucous applause and heard an onlooker yell “Go Cubs!” There was only one thing left to do: Troll him
“Han perdido! They lost!”
Imagine traveling all the way to the Vatican City to see the pope, then decide you’re going to yell about the Cubs to him, only to have him roast the fact you got smoked by the Brewers in the NLCS. You should really have seen this coming considering that back in June the pope wore a White Sox hat inside the Vatican.
The real question now becomes how the Sox can only go 60-102 with this kind of diving power behind them.
