Braves-Phillies, Live: Derrek Lee Scores Second RBI, Ties Game At 2

In the bottom of the fifth inning on Friday night, Phillies starter Kyle Kendrick walked Braves starter Brandon Beachy. Walking the pitcher is bad. Walking the pitcher to lead off the inning is worse.

The Braves took advantage. After Omar Infante laid down a sacrifice bunt to move Beachy to second, Brian McCann singled to move him to third, and Derrek Lee roped a single to left to drive Beachy to the plate. In the middle of the fifth inning, the Braves and Phillies are tied, 2-2.

This is Lee’s second RBI of the game -- over his last seven games, Lee had managed only one.
