Braves-Phillies, Live: Brandon Beachy Exits After 5.2 Innings

In his third major league start, the Braves’ Brandon Beachy earned a standing ovation from the Turner Field crowd after being pulled in the sixth inning.

Beachy performed admirably for a rookie in the middle of a playoff race, having surrendered two runs and racked up five strikeouts in 5.2 innings pitched. Peter Moylan has stepped in to relieve Beachy.
