Braves-Phillies, Live: Jimmy Rollins’ Grand Slam Gives Phillies 7-2 Lead

The Phillies blew the game open in the top of the sixth inning with a grand slam off the bat of Jimmy Rollins, and it was made possible by a crucial Braves error in the field.

With two out, third baseman Brooks Conrad fielded a ground ball He turned to throw to second, but second baseman Omar Infante was slow to get to the bag. By the time Infante arrived to take the throw, his feet were well off second base. All runners were safe, and the Phillies had the bases loaded.

Pitcher Peter Moylan walked in a run and was replaced by Mike Dunn, who gave up a grand slam to Jimmy Rollins. In the bottom of the sixth, the Phillies lead, 7-2.
