In the wake of Billy Wagner's oblique injury, suffered in Game 2, there was some hope on Atlanta's side that they could pitch the rest of the series simply down a man so as to allow Wagner to be eligible for a potential NLCS. After a brief workout, though, that will not be happening, and Wagner will be replaced on the roster by Takashi Saito, effective immediately.

Wagner threw a little and can't go at all. They are going to add Saito to roster
Cox on Wagner: "It was so bad today that there was no way possible he'd be ready for the next round."
Wagner is now out for the remainder of the NLDS and also the NLCS, and would be eligible to be added back to the roster in the World Series.
