Rangers Vs. Rays, ALDS Game 4: Nelson Cruz Puts Rangers On Board, Wade Davis Gone

And there's life in the Texas sixth. After Derek Holland worked a scoreless upper half, Nelson Cruz led off the bottom against Wade Davis by taking a first-pitch fastball deep to right-center field for a solo home run.

That dinger made it a 5-1 game, and after Ian Kinsler followed with a line drive single, Joe Maddon decided it was time to pull Davis and go to the bullpen. Randy Choate is on for the Rays, and Davis' line is as follows:

5+ innings
7 hits
3 walks
7 strikeouts
94 pitches

The Rangers have blown some good opportunities, but that they're getting opportunities is encouraging as they try to rally here at home.
