Braves Vs. Giants, NLDS Game 3: Jonathan Sanchez Perfect In Seventh

The good news for the Braves is that they made Jonathan Sanchez work a little bit in the bottom of the seventh, as Derrek Lee and Brian McCann each saw eight pitches. The bad news is that Lee struck out, and McCann grounded out. Matt Diaz grounded out, too - on the first pitch - to end a 1-2-3 inning, and Atlanta remains scoreless, with but a single and a walk to its name.

It's 1-0 Giants as we enter the eighth. Sanchez has thrown an even 100 pitches, with 65 strikes and 11 strikeouts - the second-most in Giants playoff history, behind Tim Lincecum's 14 in Game 1.

Jonny Venters is out to work the eighth in relief of Tim Hudson.
