No sooner did the Giants tie it up than the Braves took the lead right back. Madison Bumgarner threw Brian McCann a first-pitch curveball over the outer half to lead off the bottom of the sixth, and McCann yanked it deep to right field for a solo homer that landed in the front row.

It's worth noting that the Giants were prepared to pinch-hit for Bumgarner in the top of the sixth before Cody Ross hit his game-tying homer. With the game tied, Bruce Bochy opted to leave Bumgarner in the game, rather than go to the bullpen.
Bumgarner would work through the remainder of the sixth with little problem, but he’s at 85 pitches, and the Braves are on top 2-1.
