We saw one run in the top of the sixth, one run in the bottom of the sixth, and two runs in the top of the seventh. Santiago Casilla was able to come out of the San Francisco bullpen and make sure the pattern didn't continue. Casilla needed 12 pitches to strike out Diory Hernandez and then get both Omar Infante and Melky Cabrera to ground back to the mound, and now we're into the eighth, with the Giants hanging on to their 3-2 lead.

The Giants, I should note, made a bushel of changes in the seventh. Casilla replaced Madison Bumgarner as part of a double switch that also replaced Pat Burrell with Nate Schierholtz. Additionally, Juan Uribe moved to third, Edgar Renteria moved to short, and Cody Ross moved from right to left field.
