Braves Vs. Giants, NLDS Game 4: Brian Wilson Hangs On For Save As Giants Advance

It took some work, but Brian Wilson was able to get the job done and send the Giants on to Philadelphia. Wilson got pinch-hitter Brooks Conrad to fly out to lead off. He then walked Rick Ankiel and Eric Hinske back-to-back, showing an uncharacteristic lack of command, but he came back to strike out Omar Infante on a breaking ball, and Melky Cabrera then chopped out to third to end the game, the series, and Bobby Cox's career.

Cox came out of the dugout for a curtain call following the final out, and the Giants lined up to applaud him on the field before going into the clubhouse to celebrate.
