After the Rangers were able to get out in front in the top of the first, Cliff Lee more or less gave them what they wanted in the bottom. Though he allowed a leadoff single to Jason Bartlett, he had little trouble getting through Ben Zobrist, Carl Crawford, and Evan Longoria, and even though he hasn't shown his best stuff yet, Lee only needed 12 pitches in the frame. With one inning down, the Rangers are right where they want to be.
