Yankees Vs. Rangers, ALCS Game 2: Colby Lewis Yanked In Sixth

Colby Lewis allowed a solo home run to Robinson Cano in the top of the sixth to make it a 7-2 game. That wasn't so bad, and he subsequently struck out Nick Swisher. However, he then allowed a single and a walk, prompting Ron Washington to come out and pull him from the game in favor of Clay Rapada. It's up to the Ranger bullpen to get ten outs, less than 24 hours after a complete meltdown threw away Game 1.

Lewis’ line:

5.2 innings
6 hits
3 walks
6 strikeouts
102 pitches (67 strikes)

He’s been charged with two runs so far, and is responsible for the two baserunners.
