Yankees Vs. Rangers, ALCS Game 2: Alexi Ogando Effective In Relief

Colby Lewis left with two on and two out in the top of the sixth, and Clay Rapada came on to get a big strikeout of the right-handed Marcus Thames. Soon thereafter, we were into the top of the seventh, and on came reliever Alexi Ogando out of the Ranger bullpen. Ogando walked Derek Jeter to lead off, and allowed a two-out single to Alex Rodriguez to work into another jam, but he blew a 96mph high fastball right by Robinson Cano for another inning-ending strikeout.

At the stretch, the score remains 7-2 Rangers, and they're only six outs away from erasing a lot of Game 1-related troubles and concerns.
