After Joba Chamberlain came in to replace Boone Logan, Vladimir Guerrero ripped a double to the left-center gap, and Nelson Cruz drew a walk. With two on and two out, Ian Kinsler followed by hitting a pop-up to no man's land between first, second, and right field. The ball dropped between three Yankee defenders, allowing the Rangers' seventh run to score.

That's where we stand going into the stretch. The Yankees have nine outs to score at least four runs if they don't want to be pushed to the brink of elimination.
