Mark Teixeira Injury Will Sideline Him For Remainder Of Playoffs
Via Ed Price, we get word that Teixeira has a grade 2 strain of his right hamstring. It’s an injury that would keep a player out for 6-8 weeks during the regular season, which is time that the Yankees clearly don’t have right now in the playoffs.
Expect Lance Berkman to find his way into the lineup in Teixeira's place for however much longer the Yankees have.
