The Braves are by no means dead, but after consecutive losses to the Phillies, they've certainly put themselves in a position they didn't have to be in. Talking Chop isn't too thrilled with this recent turn of events:

To say the Braves came up empty today is an insult to empty. I watched this team today wondering how we even got this far, and how we didn't get eliminated weeks ago. There is not enough punch in the lineup to scare a triple-A team.

This team doesn't seem to have anything left. We've only got one more game left. I've been saying for the past month that the Braves would fittingly win the Wild Card with their last at-bat in their last game. Now that it's come to the final game, let's hope I'm right.
It’s going to be a nervous Sunday for three teams, and the Braves will go first.
