Rays Vs. Rangers, ALDS Game 1: Vladimir Guerrero Continues Rangers Onslaught

Now it's getting very bad for the Rays. Cliff Lee had a textbook Cliff Lee inning in the bottom of the fourth, needing just ten pitches to record a pair of strikeouts and a harmless ground out. Then, in the fifth, David Price bent once more. A Sean Rodriguez throwing error on a Josh Hamilton grounder opened the door, and Vladimir Guerrero followed with a long double off the wall to center to give the Rangers a five-run lead.

No further harm was done, but it’s 5-0 in the middle of the fifth, and Cliff Lee looks like he’s gotten settled in. Tampa’s odds are now exceptionally long.
