Rays Vs. Rangers, ALDS Game 2: Willy Aybar Replaces Rocco Baldelli On Roster

Rocco Baldelli started for the Rays in Game 1 against Cliff Lee, but he won't be starting anymore during the series, as Ed Price is reporting that he's been removed from the roster. Baldelli is suffering from leg fatigue - a symptom of his mitochondrial disorder - and is being replaced by Willy Aybar.

Baldelli came to the plate just 25 times for the Rays during the regular season. Aybar came up 309 times, batting .230 with six home runs.
