Darren O'Day then entered from the bullpen to strike out Matt Joyce, and after new reliever Darren Oliver walked pinch-hitter Dan Johnson to load the bases, he got Jason Bartlett to fly out harmlessly to center field to end the threat. The Rays had a chance to put some runs on the board, but they couldn't cash in, and it's now a 6-0 game in the eighth inning. The Rays are very much up against it.
