Suddenly, the Rays have to be feeling pretty secure, and they owe some thanks to impending free agent Carl Crawford. Crawford ended the bottom of the eighth by making an athletic catch to rob Josh Hamilton of a base hit, and in the top of the ninth, he led off against Neftali Feliz by working an eight-pitch at bat and drilling a full count fastball over the wall in right-center. The Rays are now on top 4-2 as they prepare to hand the ball to closer Rafael Soriano and extend this series to a fourth game.
