It seems one insurance run wasn't enough for Tampa Bay. After Carl Crawford had already knocked a solo shot to double the Rays' lead, Carlos Pena came up four batters later and doubled that lead with a home run to right-center field off Dustin Nippert. It's now 6-2 Rays, and just to be safe, they will indeed hand the ball to Rafael Soriano for the bottom of the ninth, even though it isn't a save situation.
