The results are back from Yadier Molina’s MRI, and while no significant structural damage was found, it did turn up inflammation - sufficient inflammation that Molina’s season is probably over.

The Cardinals don’t want to jeopardize Molina’s health by rushing him back for a meaningless game. He’ll be good to go in 2011.
