Texas Rangers pitcher Neftali Feliz will be pitching winter ball in the Dominican League this year, throwing for Este Toros, according to Jeff Wilson via twitter.
Neftali Feliz injury: Rangers pitcher going to winter ball
Texas is hoping that Feliz returns to his old form, and going to the Dominican this winter could speed up the process.

Feliz is trying to work his way back from the Tommy John surgery he underwent back in August of 2012. In 2013, Feliz returned but only briefly, pitching in six games and striking out four in 4.2 innings of work.
After trying Feliz as a starter for seven games in 2012, the Rangers have put him back in the bullpen. Feliz was dominant as a closer in 2011 during Texas' run to the World Series, having a 2.74 ERA and 1.16 WHIP while saving 32 games.
The 25-year-old will not be the only Rangers player working on his craft down in the Dominican Republic. Others will include outfielders Engel Beltre and Leonys Martin, shortstop Jurickson Profar, along with reliever Robbie Ross, per the Rangers official site.
