Red Sox vs. Cardinals, 2013 World Series Game 4: Time, TV schedule, pitchers and more

Lance Lynn will face Clay Buchholz in Game 4 of the World Series. Coverage begins on FOX at 8 p.m. ET.

The St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox have a quick turnaround after a wild Game 3 win for St. Louis; the two teams will meet Sunday night at Busch Stadium for Game 4 of the 2013 World Series. The Cardinals lead the series 2-1.

First pitch for Game 4 is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET, with coverage of the game on FOX beginning at 8 p.m.

Lance Lynn will start the game for St. Louis. Lynn has made three post-season appearances, including two starts, going 2-1 with a 5.40 ERA. The right-hander has been erratic for St. Louis; he has fanned 12 batters over 11⅔ innings, but also has a WHIP of 1.80.

Clay Buchholz will take the mound for the Red Sox. The right-hander has started three games in the playoffs, sporting a 0-0 record with a 5.40 ERA. Buchholz has showed strong command, striking out 15 batters while only issuing five walks, but has surrendered 19 hits, including three home runs, over 16⅔ innings.

Neither pitcher has worked more than six innings during their playoff appearances, so expect both managers to have quick hooks during the game. Red Sox manager John Farrell also acknowledged that Buchholz is still dealing with injury, which could limit Buchholz on Sunday night.
