Soon-to-be free agent Kevin Youkilis has not had any discussions with the New York Yankees about a return to the bronx, reports the New York Daily News.
Kevin Youkilis unlikely to return to Yankees
The corner infielder missed most of 2013 with a back injury, but is reportedly healthy as he enters free agency again.

The Yankees signed Youkilis in the offseason to replace Alex Rodriguez for the first half of the season at third base with Rodriguez coming off offseason hip surgery. However, back injuries allowed Youkilis to play in just 28 games before surgery on a herniated disc wound up ending his season.
Had New York made the playoffs, Youkilis would have been healthy enough to play said Joe Bick, Youkilis’ agent.
Added Bick: “He shouldn’t have any issues whatsoever going forward. It’s a normal off-season; just try to figure out where he’s playing.”
