Allen Craig remains out for the Cardinals and will not play in this series.

The St. Louis Cardinals and and Pittsburgh Pirates have announced their rosters in anticipation for their National League Divisional Series matchup beginning Thursday evening.

There aren't many big surprises for either team. The Pirates had to change up their roster from the Wild Card round to accommodate more starting pitchers, but the core remains the same. Catcher Tony Sanchez and outfielder Travis Snider were perhaps the most notable players to not be included.

For the Cardinals, Allen Craig will officially not play in the NLDS as he was left off the roster as he continues to suffer from a Lisfranc injury in his foot. He could return later in the playoffs, but the odds do not look great. His absence helped afford youngster Kolten Wong a spot on the roster. Matt Adams should continue to see nearly all the playing time at first base.
