Yasiel Puig doubles off Evan Gattis at first base

Chris Johnson flew out to Yasiel Puig for the second out in the second inning of Game 1 of the NLDS between the Dodgers and Braves. That should be the end of the story, but Evan Gattis, who was on first base with a single, got duped by Puig and his rather nonchalant way of catching fly balls.

Gattis strayed too far off first base and Puig nailed him easily for an inning-ending double play. Puig also scored the Dodgers’ first run of the game thanks to some aggressive base running in the second. In the early going at least, Puig has done all the little things just right for Los Angeles.
